Every resident has a detailed and comprehensive assessment of needs carried out in their own home, or wherever they currently reside, by one of our senior staff members prior to admission. This is retained on file and will form the basis of their personal care plan.

Prospective residents can come for the day, then it is a four-week trial to find out if Emerson Court would be right for them. Each individual, with their own particular character and abilities has differing social, emotional and health needs, likes and dislikes. These may change in the normal course of events as the condition progresses. Everyone’s care plan is updated when required. We keep a comprehensive record of all health care professional visits made to residents. All residents’ records can be inspected by the residents themselves or relevant authorised representatives.
